お店で取り扱っている赤絵の鉢を作られた辻昇楽さんが
出張の途中に立ち寄ってくださいました。
辻さんは江戸時代に鍋島藩主によって作られた
赤絵付けの職人が集まった赤絵町に今も残る絵具店の７代目です。
岡山のベンガラを使った赤絵の作品を含めて作陶をされています。
国内のあちこちを旅されているので、いろいろな焼き物の産地の話も聞かせていただきました。
Mr. Shogaku TSUJI came to our shop along the way of business tour.
He is the 7th generation of a paint shop in Akae-machi
which was made by the lord of Nabeshima in edo period.
We deal with his bowls on which flower arabescue is designed by red color.
One of the raw materials of the red color is Bengara (colcothar) from Okayama.
As he has traveled a lot around the nation, his stories about areas of ceramics were very interesting.
