kohiki1.jpgこれが水につける前の状態。

kohiki2.jpg真ん中に少し水を入れてみました。

Welcome to Utsuwa lesson vol.3.

Today, we will intorduce how to deal with Kohiki.

It is often said that Kohiki is difficult to use because it's easy to be stained.

However, if you use Kohiki for 5 or 10 years, you can enjoy the change of its texture.

Please put Kohiki into the water for about 5 minutes before using.

The first picture is just before using.

The second picture, some water is put into it and you can see its center has become grey.

The last one is 5 minutes after it was filled with water.

You can see its color has changed into a little bit grey.

Now that, the pottery is ready for dish.

You can use it for Shimmered banboo shoot, Sashimi, fresh salad with spring vegetables,

or what you like!
