Exhibition of Lucie Rie

I went to Himeji City Museum of Art 

to see the exhibition of Lucie Rie.

I also enjoyed her exhibition held in Osaka about 5 years ago,

however, there were different kinds of works on displayed.

I enjoyed works with brown color glazed with bronze

as well as others with Turkish blue and light pink.

And impressive items were buttons!

They were like a list of glaze color.

After going to the exhibition, I dropped by a shop and found a button made by pottery.

Of course, I bought it.

Probably I was very influenced by her works.

This button was desined by a designer of ARABIA in Finland.

It is very fun to imagine ways to use it !!
