日本のものでも韓国のものでも
古いものには何かしら惹きつけられます。
昔はどんな風に使われていたのかを聞くのも楽しいですし、
想像してみるのも楽しいです。
写真のスッカラと高台付きの木のお皿は去年の12月に韓国へ行ったときに見つけたものです。
お皿は100年以上前のものでお菓子を乗せるのに使っていたとのこと。
お菓子だけじゃなくて、小さめの茶器を置いても良さそうです。
スッカラはカレーなどを食べるのに便利ですし、
料理を作っているときにちょっと混ぜるのに使っても便利です。
柄が長いので手が熱くならなくていいんです。
Antiques of both Japan and South Korea attract me.
It's interesting to know or to imagine how to use them.
Sukkarak, Korean style spoon and the wooden small plate with high foot
in the picture are ones I bought in South Korea last month.
The small plate is more than 100 years old,
and originally it was used to put on sweets.
It also looks nice for a small tea pot.
And spoons are convenient not only for eating but also cooking.
