Rice with boiled barley and rice bowls

Feb 20, 2016

Mugi rice1.jpg

I cooked rice with boiled barley.

Well then, which rice bowl should I take?

The first one is a bowl of white porcelain which is made by Prof. Lee Gee Jo, in South Korea.

It is a simple and traditional style of the country.

As its side line is comparatively straight, it looks like wrapping around rice.

This bowl also will be nice for rice with some soup like porridge.

And the second one is made by TANAKA Daiki, in Shiga prefecture.

Its characters are the motif of lotus leaves and slightly outwardly shape.

This is easy to serve rice with well balanced.
