Lacquer ware by IGARI Masayuki
猪狩史幸作品受注会が始まりました。
今日ご紹介するのは、正法寺椀（しょうぼうじわん）です。
この入れ子タイプの椀は岩手県にある正法寺で実際に使われているそうです。
一番大きいものにご飯、次に汁物、一番小さいものに香の物を入れます。
禅の修行僧はこれで食事の全てをまかない、持ち歩きしやすいように高台のない形をしているとのこと。
普段なら、ご飯・スープ・サラダだったり、パスタ・サラダ・デザートなどに使えそうです。
ご夫婦＋お子さん一人の3人家族なら、家族一人一人が使うというのもいいですね。
和食に限らず、中華でも洋食でも気軽に使ってみてください。
だんだん赤みがかってきて、つやも出てきます！

Ordering exhibition of Lacquer ware by IGARI Masayuki has just started.
We'll introduce you "Shoboji-wan" today.
These nested bowls are actually used by the monks at Shoboji temple in Iwate Prefecture.
The biggest one is for cooked rice, the middle one is for soup, and the smallest one is for pickles.
They are enough tableware for monks to eat in daily life.
And they are designed without foot to carry around easily.
But in our daily life,
they will be useful for cooked rice/ soup/ salad, or for pasta/ salad/ dessert.
I hope you wil enjoy them not only for Japanese food but also other foods such as Chinese food and Italian food.
With a family of father, mother and one child, all the three member will enjoy each size of the bowls.
