有田・波佐見・唐津の旅
Travel of Arita, Hasami and Karatsu
器の勉強と仕入れのために佐賀県へ行ってきました。
まず有田の辻昇楽さんのところへ。
辻さんは研究熱心な方で、日本のあちこちの焼き物の産地に行かれて交流されています。
岡山にはベンガラつながりで何度も来られているようです。
辻さんに、有田と県境を挟んでお隣の波佐見にも連れて行ってもらいました。
いろんな国の窯を展示している公園がありました。これはイギリスの窯。
他にも、中国やトルコの窯もありました。どれも実際に使用できるように造られていました。
途中、１００年近く前の波佐見焼工房の建物を利用した雑貨屋さんへ。
カフェや体験工房もありました。この日は九州南部へ台風が上陸した日で、
風がもーれつに吹いていましたが、結構な人が来ていました。
今回の旅の最大の目的は中里花子さん！
台風が去った後の秋らしい日に、中里さんの工房へお邪魔しました。
工房に入ってくる自然光が心地よいです。
とても気さくな方で、作品作りのこと、釉薬のことなど、いろいろ教えてもらいました。
作品の仕上げをしているところをパシャッ！めちゃくちゃ、かっこいいんです。
何とか台風の合間を縫って、今回の旅の目的を果たすことが出来ました。
中里花子さんの個展を１２月に予定しています。

I went to Arita, Hasami and Karatsu to study tablewares and
to buy some items for the shop.
First, I want to Mr. Tsuji, living in Arita.
He has visited many places of ceramics to exchange with many people.
He sometimes comes to Okayama, since the red color which he uses for his works is
made in Okayama.
He took me to Hasami, which is a famous place of porcelain in Nagasaki pref.
We went to a park and watched some kilns of other countries such as Britain, Turkey, and China.
They can be used in practice.
The kiln of the picture is from Britain.
I dropped by a shop. It was about 90 years old and it used to be a studio of Hasami ware.
The main purpose this time is to meet Ms. Hanako NAKAZATO.
I visited her studio on a sunny day just after the typhoon.
Her studio is surrounded many trees and plants, so it was very comfortable with natural sunlight.
She is friendly to teach me about her works and glazes, etc.
And she is cool when she works.
The exhibition of Ms. Hanako NAKAZATO will be held in December.
