今日は yuta 須原健夫さんの匙について。
11月の展示会で登場した作品です。
形はいたってシンプルな匙。
真鍮製のこの匙は光に当たると柔らかく明るい金色に輝きます。
上の写真は、
スプーンのすくう部分（「つぼ」というようです）と柄の接続部分をアップにしたもの。
完全に平ではなく、上からの緩やかなカーブの余韻を感じるラインが残っているんです！
まずこの細やかなデザインに感動します。
そして横から見てると、
これまた美しいライン。
しかしこの匙は美しいだけではありません。
このカーブと横幅がポイントです。
横幅は約3.5cm。
これは口をあまり横に広げなくても食べられる幅なんです。
ちなみに一般的なスプーンの幅は4cm～4.5cmが多いようです。
初めてこの匙を使ったとき、
「身体に沿うというのはこういうことか！」と感動しました。
使っていて心地がいいので、カレーやスープといったスプーンを使うメニューを
増やしたいくらいです。

We'll introduce you a brass work again.
The work is a spoon which was on display at the exhibition in November.
It has a quite simple form and shines beautifuly when it receives some light.
You can see the connection part of the spoon and its handle.
How beautiful the designt is!
And its profile is also beautiful because of the curve.
The curve and the width are very important point.
This spoon has about 3.5cm width, which means that
we don't need to open our mouth so widely.
When we used this item for the first time,
we were moved due to the confortable use.
