特別企画展のお知らせです。
「イ・キジョ展～その静謐（せいひつ）な白磁たち～」
2016年4月29日（金）～5月8日（日） 11:00 - 18:00
※5月2日（月）店休日
※作家在廊なし
韓国現代白磁の第一人者であるイ・キジョ先生の作品には
李朝白磁に代表される伝統的なスタイルとそれを現代風にアレンジしたスタイルの両方があり、
そのシンプルで上品な佇まいには思わず手を触れてみたくなるほどです。

青みがかった白い器は料理の色を鮮やかに見せてくれます。
イ・キジョ先生は自ら野菜を育て、それらを使って料理もされます。
先生にとっては器を作るのも日常の一コマで、その地に足の着いた生活が
優しい佇まいの作品に表れています。
4月30日（土）の14時～15時は「うつわ講座1604」と題して
日本でも人気の李朝白磁の歴史をご紹介する講座を開きます。
申し込み・参加費は不要ですので、お気軽にご参加ください。

Prof. Lee Gee Jo is a leading creator of white porcelain in current South Korea.
His works have both traditional style and modern one.
His works with simple and elegant form make us feel touch them directly.
The white porcerain with a bit bluish glaze is good to make different dishes look delicious.
He cultivates vegetables, cooks and makes white porcelain.i\
All the works are parts of his daily life, which gives his works warm atmospehre.
We'll hold an event to introduce the history of Korean white porcerlain.
