大塚美術館と淡路島
Otsuka Museum and Awaji Island
12日は瀬戸内海東側を車でぐるっと一周してきました。
まずは岡山から瀬戸大橋を渡って香川県を通り、
そのまま徳島県にある大塚美術館を目指しました。
天気はよかったんですが、風が強く、瀬戸内海にしては珍しく波が立っていました。
でも一面の海を見ていると心もすっきり、さっぱりします。
休憩をはさんで大塚美術館へ。
システィーナ礼拝堂です。ヴァチカンにある本物にも行ったんですが、そのときは運悪く
最後の晩餐が修復中だったんです。美術館のものは陶板で出来ているので
本物ではありませんが、実物と同じサイズで再現されていて迫力がありました。
フラ・アンジェリコの受胎告知です。遠近法など、当時では最先端の技術を使って書かれているそうです。
なんと、この美術館の作品の多くは、実際に触ってもいいんです！凹凸もきっちり再現されているので
色を重ねて塗られている部分などはちゃんと厚みがあります。
次の目的地は淡路島で作陶されている岡本純一さんが個展されているカフェです。
会場の223cafeは洲本市役所のちかくにあります。
ギャラリーとカフェが併設されていてお茶も楽しめます。
ここから車で15分ほどの工房にも案内してもらいました。

工房を後にして明石海峡を渡って本土へ。
気がつくと岡山を起点にぐるっと瀬戸内海の東の端を一周していました。
I drove around the east side of the Seto Inland Sea last Monday.
Starting from Okayama, I headed for Otsuka Museum in Tokushima pref.
via Setoohashi Bridge.
As it was sunny but a little bit windy on tha day, the waves were running high
in the Seto Inland Sea.
But wide viewing made me feel refresh.
After a short break, I went to Otsuka Museum.
The first work was the Sistine Chapel frescoes.
Actually I had been to Vatican, but unfortunately the real work was under repair.
Though this work in the musem is replica, it has the same size as the original one.
The next work is The Virgin of the Announciation by Fra Angelico.
It is said that this work was painted by the latest skills at that time.
It is quite glad that we can touch most of the woks in the museum!
The last destination was 223 cafe in Sumoto city in Awaji Island.
The exhibition of Mr. OKAMOTO Junichi was held at the cafe.
And then, he indroduced his studio.
