御茶屋跡オープン
OCHAYA-ATO event has started.
16日は2つのイベントに行ってきました。
午前中はフィールドオブクラフト倉敷へ。
取引のある作家さんたちが何人か出展されていました。
新作を見たり、作品の雰囲気や手触りを改めて確認できるいい機会なんです。
夕方からはこの日から始まった展覧会のオープニングレセプションに参加しました。
これは赤磐市にあるカフェドグラスさんの店主さんとと東京・吉祥寺にあるRoundabout/OUTBOUNDの
店主さん2人がコラボした「機能と作用」というタイトルの展示会で、
会場はカフェドグラスさんと牛窓の御茶屋跡の２つです。
カフェドグラスさんでは「機能」のものが、御茶屋跡では「作用」のものが展示されています。
御茶屋跡というのは、昔朝鮮通信使をもてなした場所に立っている日本家屋です。
オープニングレセプションでは地元の料理を味わいながら、ギターやピアノ演奏を楽しみました。
開け放たれた窓から入ってくる風が心地よくて、思わずたそがれたくなったほどです。
牛窓の海を背景に聞くギターやピアノの音は何とも贅沢でした。

I enjoyed two events yesterday.
First one was "Field of Craft Kurashiki".
Some of the creators with whom we do business attended this event.
It is a good chance to find new items or feel atmosphere of their items
at an event like this.
Then I attend the opening recepcion of an exhibition at OCHAYA-ATO in Ushimado.
The venue was an old Japanese house.
The place where this house is located used to be a place to treat delegation
from Korean Peninshula about 350 years ago.
The title of the exhibition is "Function and effect" and items of "effect" are displayed there.
This event is the colaboration with the owner of CAFE DU GLASS 921 GALLERY and
the owner of Roundabout/OUTBOUND.
Items of "function" are displayed at the gallery and ones of "effect" are at the house.
The participants of the reception enjoyed music by the guitar and piano
with a wonderful ocean view of Ushimado and conformable wind from the Seto Inland Sea.
It was quite precious time to listen to music with a beautiful scene.
