9月20日の日曜日に
「うつわ会1509」というイベントを行います。
これは器の入門講座のようなもので、
今回は陶器と磁器の違いやそれぞれの特徴や扱い方などをご紹介します。
写真は佐賀県・唐津市の中里花子さんの陶器の飯わんです。
黒い斑点のようなものは、唐津の土にもともと含まれている鉄分です。
陶器は土の成分で、磁器は釉薬という上薬の成分で表情が違います。
好みの器を見つけるの参考になさってください。
これからの季節に食べたい料理をイメージできるようなコーディネートも
ご紹介する予定ですので、お時間のある方はぜひお立ち寄りください。

The event named "Utsuwa-kai 1509"
will be held on September 20, Sunday this week.
This is a kind of standard lesson for beginners of tableware.
We'll introduce some basic information about those wares,
like differences between pottery and porcelain, how to treat them,
how to coordinate them, etc.
The item on the picture is a rice bowl which was made by Ms. NAKAZATO Hanako,
Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture.
Black dots on the bowl is iron which originally included the soil of Karatsu.
Each item has each surface depending on its ingredients.
We're sure this event will help you to find your favourite ones.
We'll also introduce some coordinates good for Autumn dining.
