角田淳さんの作品（その２）

今回は４つの作品をご紹介します。
まずは箸置きから。
しのぎの入った箸置きは、釉薬がかかっていない底だけが白いままです。
形はシンプルですが、一つ一つの形が違います。
お箸をのせるとこんな感じです。
同じタイプでカトラリーレストもあります。
ここではナイフ＆フォークで使っていますが、
お箸とスプーンなんていう組み合わせで使う場合も多いかと思います。

2つ目の作品は舟型皿です。
サイズは大中小の3つで、ここでは中サイズを使っています。
持ってみると見た目よりも軽いです。
シャープな縁と優しいアイボリー色のコントラストがカッコいいです！
両端の角度も作品によって違います。
形が多少違っていても重ねると美しい。

海という未知の世界を目指した古代人たちの舟が頭に浮かんできました。
舟型皿（中）幅14.5cm、奥行12.5cm、高さ4.7cm 6,600円 （大：9,900円、小：4,400円）

3つ目は隅み切り皿です。
これも大中小の３サイズがありますが、今回の展示会では中・小の２サイズをご覧いただけます。
写真に使っているのは中サイズです。
隅み切りという形は和食用のお皿としてよく見ますが、
角田さんの作品は、なぜかヨーロッパのアンティーク市で売られてそうな気がします。
すっきりデザインですが、釉薬の表情は豊かですよ。
釉薬が流れていたり
溜まった釉薬に貫入が入っていたり
釉薬に含まれる鉄分が点で見えたり、、、
それぞれの形があれども収まりよく重ねられます。
色は白とクリームの２パターンです。

We'll introduce you 4 items today.
The first one is chopsticks.
Only the bottom is remaind white without glaze.
The form is simple, however, each item is different.
There is a cutlery rest type, too.
This type will be good not only for knife&fork but chopsticks&spoon.

The next one is a ship-form plate.
There are 3 sizes, Large, Middle and Small.
The one in the picture is M size.
And it is lighter than it looks.
The contrast of the sharp edge and the warm ivory color is cool!
Each has its own form but they are also beautiful with stacked.
The side form reminds me of an ancient ship.

The third one is a Sumikiri plate, square plate with corner cutting.
There are three sizes (L, M, & S).
You can enjoy M and S sizes at this event.
The item in the pictures is M size.
This corner cutting plates are traditional styles in Japan, however,
her works seem to be sold at an antique market in Europe.
The form is simple but its glaze has various textures such as cracks and iron spots.
