10月におススメしたい器たちをご紹介します。
早いところではもう稲刈りが始まっていると思います。
そうなると新米の登場が待ち遠しいですね。
新米と言えば「ご飯茶わん」です。
そこで、まずはご飯茶わんをご紹介します。
藤塚光男さんの丸紋飯碗です。
少し厚みがあってコロンとした形が愛らしく、丸紋ともよく合っています。
丸い形は「円形」であり、「円」は発音が同じ「縁」に通じるともされています。
控えめに入っている小さな丸。
向きや重なりが変わるとまた違った様子になります。
古伊万里ブルーを目指した色。
丸紋の配置です。
中には千鳥が遊んでいます。

2つ目の作品は稲村真耶さんの梅文飯碗です。
2月の寒い時期に春の訪れを告げるように咲く梅の花。
ちょっと太めの線で描かれています。
どんどん伸びていきそうな枝っぷり。
反対側にも梅の花が咲いています。
いろんな想像が楽しめる余白がいいですね。
中央の青い円が二つの梅と繋がっていることで一体感のある模様になっています。
内側にも梅が顔を覗かせています。

飯碗の紹介が続きます。
菅原顕悟さんの作品です。
いわゆる「刷毛目」といわれるタイプ。
小石を残した粗い赤土が使われています。
内側にも刷毛目ありです。
底を見ると土味が感じられますね。

New rice has started to be harvested in some areas.
So, it's time to prepare for enjoying the harvested rice.
Here are two rice bowls!
The firs item is a rice bowl with circles by FUJITSIKA Mitsuo, Kameoka, Kyoto.
It is a little thick and looks cute with circle patterns.
Circle is called "En" in Japanese, and this pronounciation is the the same work "縁" in Japanese.
This word "縁" means "human connections".
The body color is "Ko-imari blue", or old Imari blue.
Looking inside the item, you can see a small bird.

The second item is a rice bowl with Japanese apricots by INAMURA Maya, Shiga.
The Japanese plums has a little thick lines and its branches look growing.
With some space on the body, we can imagine various situations.
There is also Japanese apricot flower inside.

The third item is also a rice bowl.
It is called "Hakeme" in Japanese because its brush-like pattern.
This item is made from some red soil in Nara.
Seeing its bottom, you can feel rough soil texture.
