todai-1.jpg

jongji-2.jpg

jongji-3.jpg

asakura-3.jpg

asakura-4.jpg

November 25 (fri)

Going to Tokyo for our first pop up shop.

Just after leaving the baggage at the hotel, I went to "Todaimae station".

Many tourists were enjoying beautiful colored ginkgo leaves at The University of Tokyo.

Yellow leaves and classy buildings looked so good.

I was here for lunch.

Bistro Gongji, Korean restaurant was recommended by one of my customers.

The owner chef at the restaurant is a sommelier and she offered me a white glass wine.

She cooks every dish very carefully.

She even makes seasonings such as gochujang, fish sauce and such.

The main dish, beef shank had rich taste but light aftertaste.

Dessert plate was also handmade.

I enjoyed Korean traditional sweets.

It was so good to have lunch talking with the ownerchef.

November 26th (sat) & 27th (sun)

On Saturday, our pop up shop started, which was our the biggest event this time.

The venue was Marui ueno branch.

It was said that women in their 30s were main targets, so

we selected small plates and tea cups for them.

It was quite happy to see a woman who checked our SNS!

On Sunday morning, I went to Asakura Museum of Sculpture.

This building used to be an ateliar and a house of ASAKURA Fumio, a famous sculptor.

Sun shine from the big windows was impressive.

And city view could be seen from the rooftop.

November 28th (mon)

I walked around Kuramae area where many craftsmen live.

I dropped by a coffee shop early in the morning.

And visited some places in the area such as shrines, a chocolate shop, a shop of sesami oil...

Around noon, I went to Uenomori museum and enjoyed the exhibition of terracotta army of ancient China.

Gingko leaves in Ueno park were beautiful, too.

I had a meaningful time in Tokyo!
