桃山時代の備前焼をメインテーマにした展覧会に
会期終了間近になって行ってきました。
備前焼作家の目指すところは桃山時代の備前だとか。
そう思ってみるからでしょうか、
この時代のものは「ひだすき」や「窯変」の赤色が特にきれいな気がします。
桃山時代に作られた「只今」という銘の茶碗があります。
これを３Dプリンターで再現したものを実際に手に取ることが出来るんです！
持ってみると想像以上に重い。。。
まあ、武将たちの手にはピッタリだったんでしょうね。
現在の備前焼作家さんたちが「只今」を自分なりに解釈して再現した作品も展示されていました。
見る人が違えば、一つの作品から色んな解釈や印象が出来るものですね。
見ているポイントが違うというか。
これは普段うつわを選ぶときにも共通している気がします。
色にこだわったり、重さや形にこだわったり、まさに十人十色です。
I went to a museum to see the exhibition of Momoyama Bizen,
meaning Bizen pottery in Momoyama era.
It is often said many Bizen ceramists want to make works
like ones made about 400 years ago.
There is the tea bowl named "Tadaima".
"Tadaima" means "Hi, I'm home".
At the venue of the exhibition, we can touch the 3D copy of this tea bowl !
Actually, the bowl was heavier than I'd expected.
But it must have been nice for Samurai in that era.
There are also many "Tadaima" which were reproduced by current ceramists of Bizen.
I enjoyed different styles of "Tadaima".
