アウガルテンの丸皿（2月イベント出品作品より）
Round dish of Augarten from the event in February
2月のイベント「Around」に出品予定の作品をご紹介します。
アウガルテンの丸皿（ラウンドディッシュ）です。
実はこれ、このイベントのフライヤー写真に使っています。
まずはアウガルテンについて。
1718年、神聖ローマ帝国の都だったウィーンで開かれました。
マイセンからきた技術者の協力を得て東洋風の花柄や自然な花模様などの絵付けを得意としました。
しかし、工場はは財政難に陥り、国に売却されたのです。
そのとき国の実験を握っていたのがマリア・テレジアでした。
その後、ハプスグルク家の直属の磁器窯となり、華やかで高級感溢れる作品を生み出していきます。
上の写真は「プリンスオイゲン」と名付けられています。
この「プリンスオイゲン」とは、オーストリアの名将オイゲン・フォン・サヴォイエンのことで
フランス生まれの貴族でしたが、ハプスグルク家神聖ローマ皇帝に仕えました。
いくつもの戦争で武功を立てただけでなく、政治・外交の分野でも活躍したそうです。

職人の手書きによる絵付けが施されています。
右側の作品のアップ。
さっきの作品と比べると、緑色が濃いのが分かります。
左側の作品の裏側。
こちらは右側のもの。
写真では分かりにくいかもしれませんが、底の仕上げが微妙に違っています。
実は重さも違っていて、職人による手作りが感じられますね。
直径はどちらも16.5㎝なので、デザートプレートなどに向いています。
コンディションも問題なしです。
We'll introduce two works which will be on display at the event "Around" this month.
They are round dishes by AUGARTEN, Wien, Austria.
Actually, one of them is on the flyer for the event.
What's AUGARTEN?
It was opened in Wine in 1718.
At that time, Wine was the capital of Holy Roman Empire.
AUGARTEN developed by experienced craftsmen from Meisen.
But its factory was sold to the Empire and Queen was Maria Theresa.
Then AUGARTEN became the kilen for thr Royal family and
created brilliant and luxury works.
The dishes in the picture above are called "Prince Augen".
Who is Prince Augen?
He was Augen von Savoyen, a general of Austria.
He was born in France however, served for Habsburg Family.
He got victories at many wars.
And he also was active in politics and diplomacy fields.
The up of the left work.
Flowers and leaves were painted carefully by artisans.
The up of the right one.
Green is a little deeper than the left one.
The bottoms are also different.
Actually the right one is heavier than the left one.
They are 16.5cm size and good as dessert plates.
Their conditions are very good!
