8月も終わりに近づいてくると、

朝夕の風に秋の気配を感じます。

今日の作品は、石黒剛一郎さんの小皿です。

IGsmallplate-1.jpg青瓷の小皿で、貫入があります。

長く使っていくと貫入に少しずつ色がついて、いい感じに渋くなっていきます。

IGsmallplate-3.jpg底を見ると、ロクロで成形してからお皿の部分を手で歪めているのが分かります。

IGsmallplate-5.jpg直径10.6cmの小皿は、薬味やお漬物、箸置きなど、使い勝手のいいサイズです。

Around the end of August, the wind gets cool and it reminds us that Autumn is coming.

Today's items are small plates by Goichiro ISHIGURO.

These celadon plates have cracks.

And the cracks will be cool as you use them for years.

Seeing the the bottom, we can see who the creator made this item - 

at first he made it by a potter's wheel, then he made it a little unperfct form by his hands.

So when we stack them, we can see that each plate has its own form.

Its size is Φ10.6cm, which will be good size for pickles, seasoning, chopsticks, so on.
